Ensure that the provider you select has no country block on IP addresses, as the 3CX-hosted instance might not be located in the same country as you reside in. If using 3CX in the cloud, it is recommended to use a “Register” based SIP trunk. Be smart and stick to a supported VoIP Provider ! You can try the hard way with an unsupported VoIP provider but will probably have sound and reliability issues and you will not be able to get support. Using a supported SIP trunk provider means 3CX is pre-configured to work with the VoIP provider and you can be sure to get support from both 3CX and the VoIP Provider.
